Energy-efficient systems

Innovative Aluprof window and door systems certified by the PHI Darmstadt Passive House Institute

The latest construction trends are based on the concept of energy efficiency. One of its aspects includes ensuring that the energy requirement for the heating of premises is reduced to the lowest possible level.

In practice, this refers to utilising building materials with the highest energy-saving parameters. The most significant parameter for both investors and designers is the heat transfer coefficient U.

The coefficient U is characterised by the thermal insulation of the building envelope, which also affects the energy balance of the building and heating costs. The provisions of the Regulation on technical conditions to be met by buildings and their location have been changing successively since 1 January 2014 and 2017. 2021 marks the last stage of tightening of technical conditions. The permissible level of the U-value valid until the end of 2020 for facade windows and doors cannot exceed 1.1 W/m²K and 1.3 W/m²K for roof windows. In accordance with the latest requirements, the permissible insulation value will be further tightened from January 2021 to 0.9 W/m²K for facade windows and doors and 1.1 W/m²K for roof windows.

Our energy-efficient window and door systems are manufactured only using high quality certified profiles of renowned brands, meeting the high requirements of passive construction. Below you can find our offer of energy-saving profiles by Aluprof, characterised by high thermal insulation.
