Aluminium Windows

Aluminium windows – comfort and energy efficiency

The choice of windows is an important matter which does not belong to the easiest tasks. We should choose not only by the appearance, but also pay attention to the parameters of insulation, airtightness and energy efficiency of the window.

Tightness

Contemporary aluminium systems have an excellent thermal efficiency. Such an effect could be achieved among others thanks to the use of thermal separators between the inner and outer profile. Even the most perfect systems need matching assembly joints and skilled installation to guarantee the appropriate level of thermal insulation. Tight installation joints provide the right thermal conditions and reduce the costs of heating the property to a minimum.

Our aluminium systems have different degrees of windproofness and watertightness, depending on the requirements of the customer’s property.

The highest quality EPDM gaskets provide air and water tightness and effective protection for the aluminium systems throughout their lifetime.

Energy efficiency

Thanks to advances in technology and science, even huge aluminium windows provide excellent thermal insulation. Moreover, they meet the expectations of even the most demanding projects.

Our aluminium windows meet the new stringent conditions of the European Union, related to the heat transfer coefficient (U-factor). Our offer includes windows with insulation below 0.9 W/m2K. For more demanding projects we have aluminium window systems with Passive House certificate.

Insulation

Thermal insulation

Thermal insulating power is the basic parameter which classifies aluminium constructions. The term “transfer coefficient ” or “U-factor” defines the degree of insulation. The lower the U value, the higher the thermal resistance of the material, and thus the better the insulation of the property.

Thermal insulation is currently regulated by the European Union in order to be environmentally friendly, energy efficient and cost effective. All to combat climate change. How? Increased thermal insulation of buildings aims to reduce energy consumption and heating costs, but not only!

Reducing energy consumption will result in lower CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

By using energy efficient solutions we can talk about construction of the future!

Sound insulation

Due to the specifics and location of some projects, another extremely important aspect is sound insulation. High insulation is a feature that distinguishes aluminium windows. The use of acoustic gaskets in them, appropriate glazing and their lightweight construction is a perfect combination, providing the highest comfort of the property in everyday life. Soundproof constructions can positively influence location choices of a property (e.g. when a glazed office building is located in the city center) as well as make it possible to implement projects in previously excluded areas (as in the case of a hotel near a railway station).

Our offer includes windows with insulation below 0.9 W/m2K, and for more demanding projects we offer aluminium window systems with Passive House certificate. However, if this does not meet the customer’s expectations, there is a possibility of using laminated glass, which guarantees a higher level of protection from noise. Another option is the laminated glass covered with PVB foil, which is the most effective protection from noise.
